About Lynn

In my 3 corporate careers I’ve held senior roles in retail store management, pensions and employee benefits consultancy, followed by a career move into Human Resources. I have 25+ years experience as a People Director responsible for the design and delivery of the People Strategy in a diverse range of sectors and organisations from owner managed SMEs to global corporates. I’ve worked in Defence, IT, Financial Services, Vehicle Leasing, Social Housing, Care and Support. I’ve led teams of 2 to 200.

For the past 10 years I’ve run my own business as an executive and leadership coach, therapist, mentor and professional interim.

I am dual qualified as a coach and counsellor.  This enables me to work at depth as a psychological coach and therapist, and to blend both as a coach therapist. I am especially interested in working holistically with the whole person from the transpersonal perspective with what is emergent, paying attention to the imaginal, to the yearnings and whispers of the heart. This is soul work.

Bringing hopes and dreams into reality requires activation of skilful Will. This may bring up resistance and blocks, confusion about what stops us, whether that’s as individuals or as a team, things just seem to get in the way and exerting strong Will, trying harder, demanding, instructing and telling gets you nowhere. This is a signal to explore what’s in the system that needs attending to, to explore inner dynamics, inner parts, mindset and belief systems, as well as relational dynamics.

I’ve been on the planet a long time and the school of life has given me many lessons from experiences which include divorce, being a single parent, ovarian cancer age 43, breakdown and burnout age 53, whilst developing a career and holding big demanding jobs. The gift of burnout was connecting to my creativity and becoming an artist - something I never imagined I would do. I now have a thriving art practice and my work sells all over the world.
